From manufacturing processes to diesel and gas generators, enormous amounts of heat are released into the environment every day. Now, with the ATS Solid-State Generator (SSG), this wasted energy can be captured and converted into reliable electricity without disrupting operations.

A Revolution in Power Generation

Just as solid-state drives transformed computing, ATS Energy’s Solid-State Generator is transforming how we think about power production. Unlike turbines or engines, the SSG has no moving parts, making it silent, highly efficient, and virtually maintenance-free, delivering clean power where it’s needed most.

How It Works?

At the core of the SSG is a proprietary thermoelectric cartridge. It operates on a simple yet powerful principle:

  1. Waste heat from industrial equipment is applied to the hot side.

  2. Advanced semiconductor materials transfer heat to the cold side.

  3. This temperature difference drives a flow of electrons, generating direct current (DC) electricity.

For decades, this concept was too inefficient for practical use. ATS Energy’s breakthrough in material science and engineering now achieves 14% thermal efficiency — a fivefold improvement over previous systems. This unlocks the massive potential of moderate-temperature waste heat (150°C–500°C), making recovery both feasible and profitable.
